Mandø is a tiny island in the Danish Wadden Sea on the West Coast. The island has about 37 inhabitants and can be reached only when the tide is low. It has its own road you can cross in either your own car or in the tractor busses and you're bound by the tide for when to return to the mainland.
We crossed the road to Mandø in July and stayed for a few hours, before the tide would go high again. Enjoy the pictures with the amazing nature of Mandø and the tidal flats.
